This disease is called conjunctivitis. Conjunctivitis spreads rapidly after rainy season and when the weather changes. It is a very painful disease which is called pinkeye in medical terms, while the common people also call it pink eye. The patient's eyes become swollen, red and heavy. 

 The burning sensation in the eyes is severe. Watery fluid flows from the eyes all the time and the eyes cannot tolerate bright or light. On waking up from sleep, the pupils of the eyes stick together and suffer from pain. Conjunctivitis is usually a contagious disease that is transmitted from one person to another. Although conjunctivitis has no specific season or time, the chances of its attack increase after the rainy season. The sun that comes out after it rains is very intense which not only causes stinging but also causes the eyes to become scarred.

 Apart from this, the increase in dust particles, dust and air pollution due to the traffic on the roads during rainy days also leads to the spread of this disease. Epidemic diseases are not easy to control. 
Yes, however, there are some diseases that disappear by themselves after a certain period of time. Glaucoma is one of them. It goes away by itself after seven to ten days. Children, old men, young men and women are all helpless when its epidemic spreads.
 To avoid an attack of glaucoma and reduce its severity, some preventive measures and preventive techniques are prescribed. By following which you will be protected from the effects of conjunctivitis to a sufficient extent. 

Safeguards:


 Don't step out of the house without using light green, black and blue lenses on your eyes. Never ride a motorcycle or bicycle without wearing glasses, because airborne particles and smoke can also cause conjunctivitis in the eyes. 
Avoid looking at bright lights and shiny objects. TV should not be watched without wearing glasses and the TV screen should be kept at a sufficient distance. Similarly, computer users should also be careful not to sit on the computer without wearing glasses.
Do not allow dust and smoke to enter the eyes. 


 All hot and spicy foods should be reduced as much as possible in the diet. Use squash, beans etc. but according to the season and in proper quantity. 
Similarly, try to avoid fatty and spicy foods as much as possible, especially brinjal. Okra, cabbage, lentils, chickpeas and large meats should be completely avoided. As a precautionary measure, dissolve 50 grams of white alum in 5 kg of water and add 200 ml of rose water and keep it at home and wash your eyes with the solution in the morning and evening. 

 Similarly, after shaking hands with people suffering from this disease, be careful not to touch your eyes. Avoid eating and drinking while sitting with patients. Stay clean, wash your hands immediately after coming home from outside.

 Stop going out in the sun and never look at bright lights. Optical working ladies and gentlemen should avoid reading and writing and do not do mental work at all.
 Do not allow dust and smoke to enter the eyes. Put green glasses on the eyes and cloth on the head. Apply ice to the eyes and in case of itching or irritation, do not rub the eyes hard, but try not to rub them at all. 
Use turmeric on tissue to wipe watery eyes. Repeated eye drops and eye washes are not recommended, but if necessary, apply gently and gently.
